Shirshasana is the posture performed by the head. That’s why this posture is called Shirshasana. It is made up of two words, top meaning head or forehead, and asana meaning posture. It is also called the headstand pose in English. This asana is also called the king of asanas. The most important of the asanas is considered to be the asanas.   • For people who have problems with cough, cold and cold, then this asana should not be done.
  • This asana should not be done for severe problems of the ear, nose, and eyes.
  • If there is any kind of problem in the head, then this asana should not be done.
  • Should not be used in people with a hernia.
  • If there is any kind of problem while doing this asana, then before doing this asana, it is necessary to take the advice or help of a yoga guru.

 

How to do  Shirshasana:

Steps of sirsasana-

  • To do a headstand, sit in Vajrasana in a clean and clean environment.
  • Keep breathing in and out normally and concentrate.
  • Place both hands on the ground forward and bend the waist and interlock the fingers of both hands.
  • Giving the hands a V shape, place the head between the fingers of both hands.
  • Raise the hips up and straighten the legs.
  • Slowly raise the legs upwards, taking care not to rush.
  • Turn the legs upwards 180 degrees.
  • If there is any problem in raising the legs, then this asana can be done by taking the support of the wall.
  • Keep the body stable for one or five minutes at your convenience.
  • Breathing in and out normally
  • After some time slowly brings the legs down and again lie down in Vajrasana or breathing.

 

 When to do Shirshasana:

Shirshasana should be done in the morning on an empty stomach. There is more benefit from doing an empty stomach. This asana can also be done in the evening but it is necessary to have an empty stomach.

 

Shirshasana deadline:

One minute should be done after doing this asana for the first time. It can be done for five to ten minutes when the exercise is done.

Shirshasan has many benefits, but this asana should not be done in a hurry. This asana is a bit difficult in the beginning but it can be done easily if practiced.
