1. 2023 FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup (Hockey)
The 2023 Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup will mark the 15th edition of the tournament, which is held every four years. The championship will be held in India from January 13 to 29, 2023, in the towns of Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
The Hockey World Cup Qualification decides the 16 national teams that will compete in the FIH Hockey World Cup. Belgium won the 2018 Hockey World Cup after defeating the Netherlands in a penalty shootout (3-2).
2. 2023 Australian Open (Tennis)

4. 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix (Formula 1)
The 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship will begin in Bahrain on March 3rd, 2023. This will be the fifth occasion that the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir has hosted the season’s first race.

The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul will host the UEFA Champions League final for the 2022-23 season on June 10, 2023.
This will be the 68th season of Europe’s premier club football competition, administered by UEFA.
The stadium, located in the city’s Başakşehir district, west of the Bosphorus, has a seating capacity of over 75,000 people.

7. 2023 Wimbledon Championships (Tennis)
Wimbledon is the famous tennis tournament in the world. Since 1877, the game has been played on outdoor grass courts at the All-England Club in Wimbledon, London.
The 136th Wimbledon Championships will be held from July 3 to July 16, 2023, and will be the first since Queen Elizabeth II’s death. Novak Djokovic successfully defended his Wimbledon gentlemen’s singles title, defeating Nick Kyrgios in the final, to win his 21st major title.
8. 2023 Netball World Cup (Netball)
The Netball World Cup is organised every four years by the World Netball Federation. The event will be held in the International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa, from Friday, July 28 to Sunday, August 6, 2023.
For the first time, the competition will be held in Africa. England won the 2019 World Cup after defeating New Zealand.
9. 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup (Football)
The ninth FIFA Women’s World Cup competition will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand and will take place from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
10. 2023 Men’s Rugby World Cup (Rugby)
Rugby World Cup is scheduled for 2023. It will be Played in France from September 8 to October 28, 2023, in different locations across the country.

11. Hangzhou 19th Asian Games (Athletics)
The 19th Asian Games were originally slated for 2022 but were pushed back owing to the COVID-19 epidemic. The revised dates for the mega-event are slated for September 23rd to October 8th, 2023.
The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, and will feature a variety of sports.
At the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, there will be 40 sports and 61 disciplines, including swimming, archery, athletics, badminton, baseball and softball, basketball, boxing, and others. Athletes will fight for 482 gold medals over the course of 15 days.
12. 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup (Cricket)
The 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to take place in India from October 25th to November 26th, 2023. For the fourth time in its history, India will host the quadrennial competition.
Ten teams will battle for the coveted trophy. Similar to the 2019 competition in England and Wales, there will be a round-robin stage before the knockout rounds. England is the World Cup defending champion. In 2019, they won the championship in a dramatic way against New Zealand.
